Remarks: The most famous advertising icon of the age. I have dozens of Phoebe Snow advertisements, but most are from newspapers and so are not in color. This one is interesting because it shows how the advertisements, which had initially emphasized that the Lackawanna burned hard coal, now began to stress safety and other aspects of travel as well.
