Remarks: Note that the symbol of monopoly is a locomotive. The lance is labeled subsidized press while labor's hammer is the strike. It looks like a pretty unequal contest but actual strikes would yield cartoons far less sympathetic to labor. Field, Vanderbilt and Gould are among the onlookers.
