Nicholaus [Nicholas] Fochier {Leo X}
Chartres; earliest reference, bull of 22 October 1517; unpublished beneficial documents : RS 1590, fols. 16r-16v: supplication dated 22 January 1517 ; RS 1609, fols. 301r-301v:: supplication dated 22 October 1517 , RS 1598, fol.: supplication dated 22 October 1517 ; see FREY for a bull dated 22 October 1517 . Possibly identical to Nicholas Foncher (see Foncher).
Fochier may still have been in Rome in 1521, since in that year Elzéar Genet was given a benefice that Fochier had resigned (presumably not long before) [RV 1215, fols. 99r-101v: bull dated 31 August 1522 but mentioning an earlier bull of 21 May 1521 ].
