Welcome to our Chinese class Web site. You will find some interesting activities and quizzes to help you learn Chinese language and culture.

Our language class is student centered and firmly grounded in research on second language acquisition. We use a variety of techniques to learn to communicate practically in Chinese. These include 'mini-dialogues,' 'mini-situations' and 'role-playing.' The instructional materials are drawn from wide range of available options and selected for the validity and interdisciplinary integrity. Our instructional sequence is proficiency-oriented, enriched by culturally authentic context, individual paced and transacted as a continuous learning process. We practice our language skills and learn about Chinese culture through a variety of oral and written exercises, games and projects. The classroom experiences are increasingly collaborative, experimental and meaningful.

We invite you to use our site to enhance your learning experience. To help us develop the site, please take a moment to respond to the questions on our survey page.
