Registration

• Registration must be completed by November 13, 2010
• Checks must be postmarked by November 13, 2010
• Registration: $200 per team
• Once you are registered, there will be no refund and no change in roster
• Grand Prize: $1800
• Games will be played with 5 players per team, with 3 substitutions per game, for a total of 8 players maximum per team
• All players must be on the court 30 minutes prior to their game
• If the team does not show within 5 minutes after their designated time, they will be disqualified for that round
• All players must sign-in personally before each game, and all players must be on the roster that they submitted in the original
  registration
• If they do not sign-in before the game starts, they will not be allowed to play for that round
• In the event that something happens to some of your team members, we will allow you to play within a minimum of four
  signed-in players on your team
• All players must be 18 years of age or older in order to play, no exceptions
• All players must be currently studnets or have graduated within the past 5 years
• Two forms of identification are required for this tournament; one of them must be valid government issued photo identification
  Players will not be allowed to participate in the game without both
• At least one student on a team must be affiliated with an Asian student organization and have a reference from the current
  president of that group
• The team is responsible for providing the contact information
• Players cannot be playing on college level organized basketball teams, i.e. NCAA nor any professional team, i.e. NBA team,
  KBL team

Games

• 25 minutes of play time: we will begin stopping the clock when 2 minutes remain in the game
• 1's and 2's scoring system
• Full court game
• Two 30 second time outs
• Loser's ball
• Mercy Rule: If a team is winning by 15 points, the game will be ended
• There will be no free throws until the last 2 minutes of the game (only 1 free throw).
  During the game, ball will be thrown in for fouls
• Referees will be making all of the appropriate calls
• A player will be sitting out for the rest of the game after committing 4 fouls within a game
• All players must wear a number, no repeated numbers are allowed within a team
• Each player must brin ga white AND a team color (not white) t-shirt for the purpose of identifying teams during game play
• Anyone without a registered mark on hand will not be allowed to play in the tournament at all
• Substitutions will only be allowed on a dead ball

Fouls/Technicals

• If a player commits 2 technical fouls in one game, he will be ejected from the game
• If a player commits 3 technical fouls throughout the tournament, he will be disqualified for the whole tournament
• Flagrant fouls will not be tolerated; the player will be ejected from the game, no matter the circumstances.
  2 free throws will be given to the opposite team and the time will be stopped
• If ejected, the player is still allowed to play in the remaining of the tournament
• In the case of a serious offense (on and off the courts), player will be ejected from the tournament in its entirety, and be subject to
  penalty in future tournament eligibility

Semi Finals and Finals

• 40 minutes of play time (20 minute halves)
• We will begin stopping the clock when 5 minutes remain in the game
• Referees will be making the game calls
• All rules and regulations will continue to apply in the semi-final and the championship games

KASS reserves all rights in making any and all decisions pertaining to all aspects of this tournament

KASS will not be held liable for any loss, stolen or damaged personal/team belongings throughout
this tournament

I,________________,the undersigned participant, do hereby agree to exhibit good sportsmanship and abide by all of the rules and
regulations concerning the Fourth Annual Community Basketball Tournament (FAC Basketball Tournament). I have read and fully
understand all of the FAC Basketball Tournament's rules and regulations. I will respect all game calls and I understand that the referees
and court monitors have final say in all game decisions. I accept the fact that if I challenge a referee, court monitor, or FAC Basketball
Tournament staff member in an inappropriate manner, I, or my team, may be penalized or suspended from the tournament. I also
understand that if I break any FAC Basketball Tournament rules, such as hanging on the rim, using abusive language, slamming the ball,
committing flagrant fouls, or anything else that is outlined in the FAC Basketball Tournament rules and regulations, I, or my team, will be
either penalized or suspended from the FAC Basketball Tournament. I realize that if disciplinary action is taken against me or my team in
response to the abuse of FAC Basketball Tournament rules and regulations, I am not entitled to the reimbursement of any fees related to
FAC Basketball Tournament. I understand that the ultimate authorities involves with FAC Basketball Tournament is President of Korean
American Students of Smith College Hazel Won, and I agree to abide by their decisions concerning all aspects of FAC Basketball
Tournament.

I,________________,the undersigned participant, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, successors, and assigns; and I/we,
the undersigned, individually, IN CONSIDERATION of permission granted to the undersigned participant by the Smith KASS
to participate in an event entitled "Fourth Annual Community Basketball Tournament," which will be held in the area of Smith College
on Saturday, Novermber 20th, 2010, and to participate in basketball tournaments, do hereby remise, release, and forever discharge
the Smith KASS, its trustees, officers, employees and agents hereinafter and "Smith KASS" both in their individual capabilities and by
reason of their relatinoship to said Association, and their heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns of and from all liabilities
whatsoever including but not limited to all debts, demands, actions, claims, cuases of action and lawsuits in law, equity and otherwise,
which I/we the undersigned, as above described, have or may have against said "Smith KASS" by reason of injury or bodily harm,
including but not limited to death, lost of, including but not limited to destruction of property, arising or resulting directly or indirectly
from the undersigned participant's participation in the said "Fourth Annual Community Basketball Tournament" event.

Further, the undersigned warrants that he/she has medical insurance and assumes full responsibility for any medical expenses that may
result from particiaption in the "Fourth Annual Community Basketball Tournament" there by remises, releases and forever discharges
the "Smith KASS" from any said medical expenses. Further, the undersigned participant understand that basketball is a strenuous contact
sport and that serious injuries may result from his/her participation in said event.

By signing this waiver the participant understands that Smith KASS staff members will be videotaping and/or photographing the Fourth
Annual Community Basketball Tournament event. The Participant understands that this/these videotape/pictures may be used for
future promotional purposes.
