Welcome to SMUN! I am a Smith Government major and German minor. I come from Belarus, one of the founding states of the United Nations. I am also a Cottey College alumna. I enjoy learning foreign languages and traveling, in my imagination to the countries heatedly debated at SMUN sessions, as well as in real life, despite suitcases, lines and new security regulations. To rest from the hectic academic life, I play the piano or paint. I am also writing and cartooning for the Smith Sophian on the topics I would love to debate at SMUN one day.

I am a senior and a Government Major with focuses in both International Relations and American Government at Smith College. I went to High School in Wayland, MA. During my semester abroad, I worked in Washington DC, with the AARP. While in Washington DC, I worked on the Dividedwefail.org campaign working towards achieving healthcare coverage and financial security for all Americans. Upon graduating Smith College, I plan on attending Law School.

I am a junior at Smith and am majoring in economics and architecture. I have studied in Greece, where I got my high school degree from Anatolia American College of Thessaloniki. I am Albanian, though, and I was born in Korca, which one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I like fencing and volleyball. I speak English, Greek, and Albanian. I also speak basic Italian and German. I am the Diversity representative in my Smith house.

I am a first-year student. I have always had great interest in government and international policies. I would like to major in government in college. Ultimately I aim to work for the UN. Thus, joining SMUN seems to be the natural step to take in achieving my goal. Being a part of this club will educate me about civics, effective communication, globalization and multilateral diplomacy. At the same time, I know I will have a wonderful time traveling to various places, while taking on roles as diplomats, to argue my cases. I also look forward to meeting others who share my passion for learning about and hoping to develop solutions to all the world's problems
