Links to Infant, Toddler and Parenting Resources

These links connect to Web resources on Infants and Toddlers and their Parents. The materials are maintained by a variety of groups for a wide range of purposes. The Zero to Three Organization publishes a diagnostic manual specifically targeted to this age group. The other sites tend to be more market driven and commercial, but still may be useful. As always on the Web, use your judgment!

National Center for Infants, Toddlers and Their Families, also known as the The Zero to Three Organization has sections specifically for professionals and another section specifically for parents.

The Kids Health and the AMA offers information about both physical and emotional health issues in childhood. The Behavior and Emotions section is quite good.

The Parent Hub evaluates other sites about child-rearing and offers links to related groups and commercial organizations.

Parent Soup offers ideas from "Pre-pregnancy" to "Teen years".

The Healthy Kids - behavior section is tied to the American Academy of Pediatrics -- but I was greeted with a mandatory survey about purchasing disposable diapers! Still, there is good content here. The development section is also particularly good. May you be greeted more sensitively!

For fun, try the Mouseum which offers lyrics to kid's music. (The later verses of Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star deserve a look.)
